LAGO TITIKAKA, HUATAJATA and ISLAS PARITII Y KALAHUTA
Option 1
Departure 7.00 am from La Paz to Huatajata town, site at 86 Km. bordering Titikaka lake.
The peoples live of agriculture and fishing, special, pejerrey and rainbow trout. From there, we board a
motor boat to cross the minor lake, called Wiñaymarka. We visit Pariti Island and his interested museum,
specialized in tiwanacota culture. Pariti was a very strategic center, since the most important urban
centers of the Tiwanaku culture, such as Pajchiri, lukumata, Tiwanaku himself, Wankani and Santiago de Ojje,
gattered together at this pont. Later, we visit Kala Uta Island, famous for Chullpares (pre-Columbian graves).
Return to Huatajata, where enjoy a beautiful lunch, base trout.
Return to La Paz.

Option 2
COPACABANA & SUN ISLAND FULL DAY
Departure 7.30 am from La Paz on a 4 hour road trip. We follow the road bordering Lake Titicaca, arrive in
Copacabana at 11.30 am and have lunch at 1.30 pm and subsequently board the motor boat on our way to
Sun Island, crossing the majestic Lake Titicaca for approximately 1 hour. At the island and led by a
specialized tour guide, we will visit the Pilkocaina Temple, the Yumani fligh of steps and agricultural
terraces. Return to Copacabana and head on a city tour during which we will visit the Copacabana indigenous
fair, the artisan market, the XVI Century Cathedral, time during which the Virgen Morena de Copacabana
was put into her shrine. Return to La Paz City, arrive around 19.00.
