Eco-touristical Excursions.

- SAMA MOUNTAIN RANGE,BIOLOGICAL RESERVE.

Entering to Sama Mountain Range the Biological Reserve, we find surely one of the better experiences than nature can offer in the highland area, gaps, birds, dunes, archaeological remainders, rupestrian paintings and "Camino del Inca" the most conserved of the network of pre-Columbian roads of south America.
By there, centuries from history passed, the pre-Columbian cultures, and the muleteers that transported salt from Uyuni, even the men that came from the north to fight in Chaco War.
All of them left their tracks: histories and legends mixed up with the magnificence of the natural landscapes. All this and much more wait for you in Tarija come and live unforgettable experiences.

* Tajzara and El Arenal Lagoons (1 day)

· Departure in the morning.
· 3 hours trip to Sama Mountainn Range the Biological Reservoir (height 3600 m.s.n.m).
· Tour by Tajzara lagoons to observe birds (among them three species of flamingos), places of archaeological interest, trekking by sand dunes and visit to the craft weaves shops of of the comunarios.

* Camino del Inca Tajzara - Pinos (1 day)

· Transfer to the "Abra de Calderillas" (high part of Cordillera de Sama Biological Reservoir) · Trekking along the "Camino del Inca".
· We descend for Sama Mountain Range through rivers, slopes, etc. until reach los Pinos valley.
· Transfer to Tarija city.

* Tajzara Lagoons and Road (2 days)

Day 1:
· Visit to Tajzara lagoons to observe birds.
· Trekking by sand dunes.
· Start the descent by Camino Inca until Calderillas intermediate valley.
· Night in tents or basic lodging.

Day 2:
· Descent from Calderillas to Los Pinos.
· Transfer to Tarija.

- SUBTROPICAL VALLEYS.

Road to the majestic Chaco just three hours from city, crossing covered vegetation slopes, among orchids, helicons and gigantic trees are found Entre Rios Subtropical Valleys framed by beautiful meadows and rivers of crystalline water.

These paradisiacal spots invite the visitors to enjoy their rivers, to walk, practice horseback riding, mountain bike or to learn about the cultural richness of their people.

* Entre Ríos - Valle del Medio-Salinas ( 2 days)

Day 1:
· Visit to Entre Ríos and Valle del medio, with time to enjoy the place ex.: Horseback riding, Trekking by paths, swimming at the river etc.
· Night at ecoturistical complex.

Day 2:
· Excursion to Salinas a subtropical paradise.
· Return to Tarija.

* Valle del Medio - Itika Guazú (Aba- Guaraní land) (2 or 3 days)

Day 1:
· Visit to Entre Ríos and Valle del medio with all the time to enjoy the place, ex.: horseback riding, trekking, fishing or swimming.
· Night at ecoturistical complex.

Day 2 The great adventure!!

· Visit to Itika guazú Aba - Guaraní region of Pilcomayo River.
· Return to Tarija or Valle del Medio

* After the tracks of the past - Paleontologic Tour (1/2 day)
Tour by Rujero cárcavas , one of the most important fossil deposits of the central valley. There we found to "flower of land" remainders of prehistoric animal rests that habited this place approximately a million of years ago.
A unique experience to each step!!
