Alasitas Fair
It is a fair of craftworks, traditional and cultural celebration. The Alasitas festivity is celebrated in honour to “Nuestra Señora de La Paz”. In this festivity you can observe lots of miniature objects. The fair is related to the traditional “Ekeko” the abundance god.
The tradition is to buy small objects, then make them bless by the “yatiri”. People believe that the blessed objects will come true next year.
The fair place varies. Generally it is in Urbano Park.
ORURO
Departmental Anniversary
February 10 is celebrated Oruro´s anniversary. For this occasion many civic activities in homage to Oruro are carried out. Many national authorities and guests of honour attend the celebrations.
Oruro´s Carnival
Oruro, folkloric city, is worldwide known by its Carnival. It is traditional festivity that reflects the cultural diversity of Bolivia.
For this occasion, more than hundred groups dance, Diablada, Caporales and Morenos, are common dances. They go dancing trough the established route. There are great amounts of Bolivian and foreigner spectators brought together to observe the attractive spectacle.
COCHABAMBA
International Fair in Cochabamba
International fair of industry and commerce, it is organized by “La Fundación de la Feria Internacional de Cochabamba” FEICOBOL and the Chamber of Commerce. Its mission is to facilitate comercial and technological changes.
In the fair, many companies participate which exhibit many products in each stand.

“Gran Poder” Festivity is a demonstration of Bolivian folklore. It is carried out in La Paz city. In the “Gran Poder” celebration, many folkloric groups dance which comes from La Paz and other departments.

Guadalupe Virgin Festivity
It is considered as the flowers festivity in Tarija. There are many religious and folkloric celebrations. Many national folkloric groups participate in the festivity.
All Saints
All Saints is carried out the second of November. It is a feast in commemoration of all saints. Many people go to cemetery carrying flowers, food and other offerings in honour to dead people. In this date the cemeteries are very crowded. There are musical groups too.
