Uvairenda's Vineyards extend as a blanket of vines on the slope facing the east.. In a natural balcony between 1,800 and 1,700 meters above sea level, Uvairenda clusters absorb the rays of the rising sun which during the sunny days and cool add color, body and tannins to the wine. For the cold nights of the samaipatena slope, grape juices concentrate and keep the acidity that distinguishes the best expressions of the height strains, typical of Bolivia.
Our plants are all French vines carefully selected to the climatic characteristics of our vineyards.
Uvairenda's Vineyards at an altitude of 1,750 meters above sea level enjoy a semi-temperate climate with an average temperature of 19 º C and an annual rainfall of 750 mm. At 18 º 11 'south latitude and 63 º 53' west longitude, our vineyards are in the northeastern border of the long strip of vines hanging from the eastern slope of the Andes from Patagonia to the Elbow of Los Andes. |
