AeroSur transports more than 90% of the passengers in Bolivia expanding vertiginously, consolidating his international presence with new routes.

AeroSur S.A. was created in April 1992 like a regional airline with the command center in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Their inaugural flight went to “The Villa Imperial” the Potosí City in an airplane Twin-engine Meter, that was in August 24 of the same year.

The presence of AeroSur marked an excellence sign in the national air market because it was the first airline in offering the service “Executive Class” on board the English airplane BAE 146. The quality of the service located quickly to the company in the preference of the users. In 1998 AeroSur was designated Bolivian Line Flag by Supreme Decree 25257 naming Co-executor to the international bilateral and multilateral agreements.
In July 2002, the line is certified as Great National and International regular Operator of passenger, cargo and mail granted by the General Direction of Civil Aeronautic.

AeroSur counts with 12 commercial airplanes: 6 Boeing 727-200, 1 Boeing 727-100, 1 Boeing 737-300, 1 Airbus 319, 1 Boeing 737-200, 1 Boeing 747-200 and 1 Boeing 757-200.
