Doctorcitos
This dance similarly to other dances, is a satire to the law profession in the
colony and their secretaries that, in one way or another, they were ridiculed by
the society of that time. Then, they were called wayra levas (wind flowing coats)
for their garments.
The costume of the man consists of a top hat, a black suit with a kind of tuxedo,
a bow tie on the neck of the shirt and in their hands; they hold their
traditional walking stick.
The young ladies wear a dark colored skirt that press on the waists with a
waistcoat and in their hands, a small rod will go.
