Tourism in Villamontes - Tarija

The origins of this population are related to the Güaraní and Toba ethnic groups. It is well known because of the handicraft production based on wood and plant fibers.

This is a rich zone in terms of Hydrocarbons. Villamontes produces oil and natural gas.

The main tourist attractions are the Pilcomayo River and its beautiful landscapes.
