Tourism in San Javier - Beni
Relatively it is located near Trinidad city. It is constituted by the indigenous
population of the Canichana and Siriono ethnic groups.
It has a great variety of vegetable and animal resources. Its rivers, lagoons and
brooks and woods represent a great potential for development of eco and adventure
tourism.
It has besides natural prairies that lodge a great variety of oriental fauna
species such as alligators, lizards, urines, tigers, monkeys and so on. Fish
species such as surubi, piraña, pacu, gold fish, and so on are found.
San Javier is characterized for its rich cultural heritage expressed in its
religious feasts and its typical dances such as the Macheteros, Toritos, Piyu
and Mamas.
