Tourism in San Javier - Beni
It is located near the city of Trinidad. It is constituted by the indigenous populations of Canichana and Sirionó.
It contains a great variety of vegetable and animal resources. Its rivers, lagoons, brooks and woods represent a great potential for the development of eco and adventure tourism.
Moreover, it presents natural prairies that keep a great variety of oriental fauna such as alligators, lizards, urines, tigers and monkeys. Fish species like surubí, piraña, pacú, gold and many others can be found.
San Javier possesses a rich cultural heritage expressed in its religious festivities and in its folkloric dances such as the Macheteros, the Toritos, the Piyu and the Mamas.
