Tourism in San Borja - Beni

Founded by Francisco Borja and Ignacio de Sotomayor, Jessuistic Missionaries on October 10th., 1.693 on the banks of Maniqui river. It has a hot weather with an average temperature of 28°C.

The population is constituted by Chimanes, Mojeños and Mosetenes ethnic groups. On this land is the Indigenous Territory of Chimanes woods that covers 538.590 hectaires which make up the Biosphere Reserve called the Beni Bio - Station.

San Borja has innumerable tour attractions with its wide woods. Its cultural expressions in which Spanish heritage and the traditions of the Amazon peoples. It is an area proper for adventure tour and research.
