Villa Poopo is located near the Frailes Mountain range. It is characterized for being a town devoted to the artisan production. Historically, the inhabitants are descendants of Urus.

On its territory there are important tour attractions, such as the colonial temples, the hot springs, the cave paintings. Also, it is interesting to visit Poopo Lake.
