· The Martín Cárdenas House-Museum, where this illustrious Bolivian scientist lived.
Among the recent constructions we can mention the "Christ of Concord", the
highest all aver the world (40,44 mts), monumental work located on the San Pedro
Hill, to the east of the city. In that place is also the Cable Car, attractiveness
that allows to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Cochabamba. The cycling way,
that it includes the second ring of the city and it surrounds the renewed Alalay Lagoon,
that at the moment counts with more than 150 birds species.
The city is proud to have cares, creative and colorful gardens, as well as with
wide infantile parks like the parks: Mariscal Santa Cruz, Educación Vial Park,
Del Niño Park among others, located in different areas from the city, they have
recreation areas and playing field.
Some kilometers away from the city we can find interesting places for the guests
such as the hot water spring of Liriuni and Caya Cayani medical waters, also the
guest can enjoy with the view of the lagoons and dams such as the La Angostura,
and Corani lagoon - the present hydro-electric dam and Wara Wara lagoon.
Archeological Sites
The Fortresses Incallajta, that as estimated it was built between the
years 1460 and 1470 A.D.
The site of InkaRak'qay, that further research shows that it was
an administrative spot and Sanctuary of the Inca.
Ecotourist attractiveness

Carrasco Park, whose ecological floors range from 4,530 meters a.s.l

fishing practice.

Another unique characteristic of the department of Cochabamba is its different
valleys:
The low valleys such as Vinto, Sipe Sipe, Pairumani where the beautiful Albina Villa
is located, which the Baron of the Tim has had built for his wife.
The central valley comprises Tiquipaya, El Paso and Quillacollo - here
is located the Virgin of Urkupiña Sanctuary.
The high valley comprises Cliza, Punata, Tarata and Arani. The mesothermic valleys
of Aiquile, Mizque and Totora.
