travelling in Bolivia

We travelled to Bolivia a few years ago for 7 weeks. During our time in Bolivia we visited Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, La Paz and Tarija Departments. We were unable to organise any flights while we were still in Australia within Bolivia with the Bolivian Air services so had to rely on our friends in Bolivia to organise our travel arrangements for us. Hopefully the information on this site will make it a lot easier for travellers to plan and organise their travel in fabulous Bolivia. We had a lot of information from the Exchange Students we had living with us and knew we had to visit and experience this country for ourselves. We were impressed with friendly peoples and with our little Spanish everyone was very helpful. Bolivia has the most amazing potential for tourism but it needs to make booking accomodation and internal travel easier to do from outside the country. I wish I could take all my friends on a tour of Bolivia as it has so much to see. We only saw a small portion of what there is to see and will hopefully be able to return to see what we missed. This site is just what we needed and will recomend to everyone and our Travel agencies so everyone can see what is available. Hope you keep adding more places to visit and more Hotels and travel options Bus, Train...Car..and Planes.& Tours. |
